Welcome to my very new blog! I have no experience with blogging, so please be patient with me, please.
I am currently reading up on Etsy to set up a shop and holy cow, there are tons to read! Just making the banner has been a big thing to me. Thankfully somehow I came across a potter's blog that gave great instructions on using Photoshop (that is another big learning curb!).
I love making jewelry and have never settled on a certain style, which is good and bad (more tools). I started out string, learned beginning metalsmith, bought a tiny kiln to make fused glass pendants and possibly try setting glass cabs in bezels for rings, bracelets and pendants. A couple years ago my granddaughter came for a visit and taught me how to play in clay. So I starting reading and have just started to scratch the surface on pottery but I have learned how to make pendants and beads to fire in my little kiln - Thank you ladies at http://www.beads-of-clay.org/ .
I will try to post frequently and there will probably be many changes to this blog as I tackle it. I am from the older generation that did not grow up with computers, so every time I want to do something, I have to learn the how-to first. I do feel that each day learning, is a day expanding the old brain cells.
